A Multi-timbral chaos cluster

We had an extensive discussion of this on someone's LJ a few months ago.

I wish I could find it, but I've got no idea where we stored it.

It's basically a 15Khz tone sitting right at the edge of where the MP3 low pass filter sits. Most computers aren't even capable of playing back this tone.

Wow, I'm kind of impressed...I actually could hear both without straining too hard. Very painful, but still audible.

Well, I just sold it to three teenagers. I listened to it before I read the comments and I thought it was a joke, or an attempt to see who was gullible enough to send money... I could hear absolutely nothing. So I dragged three teens to my computer (it pays occasionally to always keep them handy hehe) and they started comparing thoughts on which was the preferred ringtone. (Number one met with at least one "oww.") They are as incredulous about my not hearing it as I am about their hearing it.
