Back in 2004, chicafangs went to the ball/event at the Cat Club with her g/f, and as they were making their way to the door, her stiletto went into a hole in the sidewalk deep enough for her to twist her leg and fall. She seemed fine at first, then she fell going upstairs @ work months later. Several private and workman's comp doctors examined it, said it was just an injury that needed PT, no one ever felt is was necessary to even get a CT scan. Since she was in Blue Shield HMO, she couldn't just go get way w/o paying for everything herself.
Finally, a doctor thought maybe they ought to get a CT Scan, a week later, the surgery was scheduled.
Aha. I thought she'd been wearing a knee brace and/or suffering a knee issue for almost as long as I'd known her. Yow. Glad she finally fought her way through the bureaucracy.
If a loaner cane or a visit to our hot tub would help, you're both always welcome.

So, what happened that caused her to need knee surgery? Did I miss an accident, or is this just something that's been building up for a while?
