Extra Action Over-Tipness
Jun. 8th, 2007 09:19 amI went to Extra Action last night. It was quite an evening, getting blasted by dozens of musicians blowing brass. I'm glad to see that the electrical tape rules don't seem to apply to women at Rock shows...so next fetish event I help produce: no electrical tape needed!
The cover bands were mixed. I missed the Maiden tribute band, the G' N' R cover band was awful ("Axl" lost his false-etto during My Michelle; my fave off of Appetitie), and the Van Halen guys were pretty damn good. They nailed a fair amount of songs, cues, sonic quality similar to Van Halen. (Yes, he performed Eruption. It was fine. Better than me; I never learned that one as a kid.)
I realized this morning, to my surprise, that the last drink I ordered at the bar, I included a tip $19 dollars more than I intended to. Oops! Oh well. Rock n' Roll. Ha ha..or something.

doomkty in the madness of mullets and trashy dresses. Always good to run into her.
Gotta manipulate some sonic bytes now.
